Mortgage Checklist
The following is a list of documents that are required in order for us to process your home loan. Lenders require this information so they can verify your previous employment, income status, and any past payment history you may or may/not have.
- Copy of last two months of recent bank statements for assets.
- Most recent paystub & A recent W2 or 1099 tax returns from employer.
- Copy of last two years of personal tax returns if self-employed.
- Copy of each borrowers Drivers License.
- Name & phone number for homeowners insurance agent.
The following documentation will also be needed. Only applicable in some cases. Your mortgage consultant will explain whether any of the following applies to your situation.
- Social Security awards letter for monthly benefit on social security.
- Copy of current pension awards letter for retirement benefits.
- Copy of divorce decree for any child support owed or any other obligations.
- Copy of bankruptcy discharge papers.
